Here at Otago Water Polo, we offer a variety of competitions throughout the year. We aim to provide as much game time as possible for our members and the wider community. Please find in the drop-down menu the variety of competitions we hold throughout the year.

School Water Polo Competition Manager
Tim Chirnside is the Otago Water Polo's new Competitions manager for 2023.
Tim is a 21-year-old student currently studying computer science at Otago University.
Tim has been a part of Otago Water Polo for the last decade, starting out in U12 and playing tournaments all the way through to heading away with the Otago Men's team in recent years.
During his playing years, Tim trained with the New Zealand squad for his age group, and spent time overseas in Serbia and Croatia, training with some of the world's best Olympians. Tim coached the John McGlashan College A team and has been a graded referee since playing school water polo.
After spending much of his life at the pool making lifelong mates playing the sport that he loves, Tim feels that its only natural to be working for OWP. He looks forward to meeting new people around the pool this year and seeing some familiar faces too.
